Best Practices, Best Results

More than 115 people die each day in the United States after overdosing on opioids, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse. While there’s much work to be done toward finding a cure, we have effective ways to help reduce that number.

As a best practice, the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) recommends labeling opioid prescriptions for patient awareness and safety. Easily improve your own best practices by labeling opioid drugs with our preprinted warning labels

To further enhance patient safety, ISMP also recommends using preprinted labels to identify patients who have previously been given opioid drugs as Opioid Tolerant and those who have not been exposed to opioids as Opioid Naïve. We offer several options to help you achieve these goals. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, our print professionals will print labels to your exact specifications.

We also have you covered when it’s time to dispose of unused or expired medication. Trust our two proven drug disposal systems, Deterra® and Rx Destroyer™, to safely render prescription drugs irretrievable and to deter tampering and theft.

Opioid addiction is a national crisis with no clear end in sight, but we’re here to help you improve your best practices and achieve your best results.
