Time to Reverse Course?

If you’re using surgical or exam gloves in a USP <797> cleanroom, you may be doing more harm than good. Know when to reverse course and what to use instead.

Even though some medical gloves are classified as sterile, their paperboard packaging is a major source of particulate contamination. Likewise, ambidextrous gloves fail to provide a proper fit, which can lead to potential contamination and exposure.

A designated cleanroom glove should be your only choice.

Sterile Ultimate Cleanroom Gloves are designed, manufactured and packaged with the ISO 4 cleanroom in mind. These latex-free gloves are made of nitrile and polychloroprene then twice chlorinated and rinsed in deionized water, which removes particulates and microbes from all surfaces. Gloves meet ASTM D6978 ratings for use with chemotherapy drugs and their polyethylene packaging system is cleanroom compatible, too.

For maximum protection against dust and disorganization, our Holder for Sterile Cleanroom Gloves gets the job done and looks good doing it. It keeps wallet-style glove packages neat and promotes proper first-in, first out dispensing. Because it replaces cardboard packaging, it also reduces particulate and improves air quality.
