Designer Emily Allen has been on her career path for as long as she can remember. She earned her bachelor’s degree in visual communication from Ohio University in 2023 but began making her mark in the field years earlier. 

“Design has always been something I was interested in, something I wanted to do,” she said. “I attended Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center and after that design and photography were like riding a bike. I love that there is always something new to learn and experiment with. Leave no stone unturned!” 

A natural “clever girl,” she said Jurassic Park 1, 2 and 3 are her favorite movies. “I will never get tired of watching them.” 

Allen, who describes herself as enthusiastic, has undeniable ark vibes happening at home. Her family includes 2 cats, Sammy and Lulu; 2 dogs, Sadie and Gus; and 2 lizards, Marvin and Squishy.
