Appreciation Lunch Celebrates Contract Crews

Machines powered down and the noise faded inside our new manufacturing plant as contract workers took a well-deserved break for an appreciation lunch. With a buffet-style meal served by Hudson's Edge Catering and Events, we celebrated months of tight deadlines, incredible progress and — most importantly — the people whose hard work made it all happen. 

 

“It’s only possible through the great relationships between Jay-Car, HCL® and all the subcontractors that this was able to be achieved on such an exceptionally tight deadline” says President Bethany Reid. “Communication, the ability to pivot and a ‘let’s do this!’ attitude were all part of the recipe for success on this project.”

 

Facilities and Safety Director Matt Carver says it was a team effort, and everyone involved showed pride in their work.  

 

“You couldn’t have asked for a better group of people who knew how and wanted to get things done. It’s been a lot of fun seeing everything come together the way it has. This accomplishment is something to be proud of for everyone involved.”
