Repackage ODTs Without Getting Crushed
Orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) are ideal for patients who experience dysphagia and for whom compliance is a concern, but a typical drug repackaging routine won’t work for these ultra-fragile pills. Even though they can be taken without water, you’ll drown in defeat if you don’t find a way to properly prepare them for dispensing.
Our Box-Card Dispensing System is a life preserver!
Just remove the blisters from their original box (which is often odd sized) and place them inside the preprinted cardboard box. Doing so minimizes the risk of medication being crushed or disintegrating during repackaging and helps prevent storage problems, missed orders and med errors that can occur when manufacturer packages are placed on med carts.
This repackaging method keeps ODTs in the same flow as regular tablets/capsules and allows pharmacies to credit unused product because it is in its original sealed package. Once the new box is filled, attach a prescription label or write in patient details to prepare it for delivery.
Stay afloat with this handy medication repackaging method. Boxes, 250 per package, are in stock and ready for same-day shipping!
