Service Spotlight: Bethany Reid

Join us in congratulating President Bethany Reid on her 25-year milestone with the company that began in her childhood garage! From the beginning, she’s been learning, growing and putting in work. Now, the best phase of her career is just getting started.

 

Earning an executive position was always the goal, she says, but the path was never easy. It often meant trying, failing, adjusting and trying again.

 

“I try very hard not to dwell on failures. There’s no time for that. They don’t really seem like failures though if you learned something from them.”

 

Bethany says she’s had her sights set on leading the family business since she was in sixth grade, and the journey to the top has been worth every challenge along the way.

 

“Changing the title on my business card to President was just the start of the ultimate chapter in my life story so far. There is so much more room to grow and learn.”  

 

Never one to seek the spotlight, Bethany says her proudest moments come from watching teams step up and solve tough problems together.

 

“I love that we embrace the ‘hold my beer’ moments when customers or internal departments ask, ‘Can we …?’ If it turns out we can’t, we still learned a lot along the way.”

 

That same curiosity and adventurous spirit extend beyond the office with hobbies that include hiking, 4-wheeling, scrapbooking and wine tasting.
