Service Spotlight: Diana Starkey

Join us in congratulating Sales Support Manager Diana Starkey on two decades of service! We asked her to reflect on her journey so far. Here’s what she shared.  

 

šŸ’¬ Biggest lesson you’ve learned in your 20 years at HCL®? 

I’ve learned that excellence is built through consistency and a willingness to solve problems, not avoid them. It’s never, “no;” it’s, “How can it be done?” 

 

šŸ’¬ Advice you’d give someone newly assigned to a management role?  

Take the time to learn and build the people around you. Relationships are what carry you through the hard days, the big goals and the unexpected challenges. Strong teams are the key to success. 

 

šŸ’¬ What does this milestone mean to you? 

This milestone is proof of persistence and consistency. It makes me think about all the chapters that I’ve lived and the growth that I have experienced, seen and contributed to. It is meaningful because it represents commitment, evolution and a lot of moments shared with great many people along the way. I am grateful for every season these past 20 years and look forward to what’s next.   

 

šŸ’¬ For fun: What are you binge watching or listening to right now? 

Currently, we are binge watching Seal Team. We always try to look for shows with at least three seasons so we can really get into the story without running out too fast. 

 

Diana shows up every day for her team, and her dedication is evident in their growth. We are proud to celebrate this milestone with her today!
