And it’s one reason the US Pharmacopeia (USP) revised its sterile compounding standards. If your team isn’t in compliance with updated media fill testing requirements by Nov. 1, the success of your pharmacy could be in jeopardy.

In addition to several other revised personnel requirements, those who compound category 1 and 2 CSPs will now have to complete media fill testing every six months and every three months for category 3 CSPs.
